Stop work and construction orders issued by the Israeli occupation for 17 Palestinian houses in the Jericho area

The Israeli occupation authorities today notified a halt on work and construction in 17 homes west of the eastern West Bank city of Jericho, according to a local activist. Alaa Fhaidat, an activist in Jericho, told WAFA that the occupation forces stormed al-Dyouk al-Tahta and handed over notices to stop work and construction in 17 houses in the center of the village, some of which have been inhabited and built for years, while others are under construction. Dozens of similar notices were handed over by the occupation authorities to homeowners in the same village over the past two years. Last week, the occupation forces demolished four houses and notified the demolition of four others in the same village.
