The collaborative decision-making project aims to enhance operational efficiency and resource utilization, improve aircraft handling times, provide accurate operational data, and improve predictability, decision-making, and airport infrastructure usage across the Jordanian air transport sector. Minister of Transport, Wissam Tahtamouni, highlighted that the memorandum reflects the distinguished level of performance at Queen Alia Airport on both regional and global scales. She emphasized that continuous cooperation and coordination among all parties are essential elements that bolster Jordan's position as a vital aviation hub in the region. Tahtamouni stressed that this collaboration ensures a smooth and synchronized flow of information among all stakeholders at Queen Alia Airport, positively impacting decision-making processes, overall performance, and resource utilization. She explained that the memorandum would help reduce delays in operational decisions, improve predictability during emergencies, and enhance operational efficiency and optimal time utilization in various operational processes. Nicolas Devillier, CEO of the Airport International Group, stated that the introduction of the collaborative decision-making model would lead to a qualitative leap at Queen Alia International Airport, reinforcing its position as a leading, climate-friendly regional airport in line with global aviation standards. He added that the project's strategic advantages would allow the airport to benefit from a strong network of collaborative decision-making and connection with the European Organization for the Safety of Air Navigation. Devillier expressed hope that more airlines would join the memorand um, increasing the project's benefits to the airport. Ahmed Odeh, Director of the Air Navigation Services Department at the Civil Aviation Authority, noted that the project's implementation would significantly enhance airport operations by improving efficiency, facilitating better coordination among stakeholders, optimizing resource use, enabling real-time information exchange, and enhancing compliance and safety standards. These improvements would ultimately lead to operational excellence and an improved passenger experience. Royal Jordanian CEO Samer Majali underscored the importance of cooperation with the Airport International Group to ensure the project's successful implementation, highlighting the commitment to supporting innovative ideas that benefit Royal Jordanian and the aviation sector. He stressed that enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of operations at Queen Alia International Airport aligns with Royal Jordanian's strategy and key performance indicators.
