CAIRO, The Somali National Army killed Tuesday 32 Al-Shabab militants in a military operation in Lower Jubba, South of Somalia, the national news agency (SONNA) reported. SONNA added that the operation carried out by army special forces and Jubbaland security forces in Batati also led to the capture of three militants. The Somalian forces have been fighting battles for years against Al-Shabab, and within months it was able to secure many areas that were controlled by the group. Source: Kuwait News Agency
