The Shura Council strongly condemned the treacherous Zionist aggression on the Syrian Arab territories, which led to the martyrdom of 16 civilians and the injury of more than 40 others. In a statement, the Council considered the Zionist aggression against Syria a blatant violation of international law, a violation of Syria's sovereignty , a war crime added to the crimes and violations committed by the Zionist entity against the peoples of the region, especially in Gaza. The statement emphasized that by continuing to commit these crimes and escalating its violations, the usurper entity seeks to drag the region into a large-scale war that threatens the peace and security of the entire region. The Shura Council pointed out that the Zionist entity's persistence in committing crimes that violate all international laws and norms would not have been possible without the direct support of the US administration, Britain , Western countries, and the inaction of client states and regimes. The Shura Council called o n the Security Council, the United Nations , its international and human rights organizations to play their role and break the shameful silence to stop the Zionist orgy against the region peoples and condemn the blatant Zionist aggression against Syria.
