Several Palestinians suffocated during Israeli military incursion of Bethlehem’s village


Several Palestinians, including school students, suffered from suffocation during an Israeli military incursion into the village of Husan and the town of Al-Khader, west of Bethlehem.

The director of the village council in Husan, Rami Hamamra, said that Israeli forces stormed the vicinity of the schools in the center of the village, while students were leaving their schools, during which the occupation fired live bullets, tear gas and sound bombs, which led to the suffocation of a number of reidents, including students.

Hamra added that the occupation soldiers forced the owners of shops in the Al-Matina area located on the main street of the village to close their doors, and prevented the movement of vehicles and citizens.

In the town of Al-Khader, a local source reported that the occupation forces stormed several neighborhoods, specifically the old town, the vicinity of the Grand Mosque, and the gate, and fired live bullets, tear gas and sound bomb, causing suffocation cases among civilians.
