Several Injuries Following Israeli Bombardment in Areas in Gaza

Gaza city: A number of citizens were injured by Israeli occupation forces' fire on Sunday evening in Gaza City and the central Gaza Strip.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, several citizens were injured in the Al-Rimal neighborhood, west of Gaza City. Additionally, three others, including a child, sustained injuries when the occupation forces targeted civilians fleeing through Rashid Street, west of the Nuseirat refugee camp in the central Gaza Strip. These individuals were transferred to Al-Awda Hospital for medical treatment.

In related incidents, the vicinity of Al-Shifa Hospital was subjected to heavy shelling by occupation forces. Warplanes also targeted a residential building in the Al-Rayes neighborhood within the Al-Sabra neighborhood, south of Gaza City. Further attacks were reported near Al-Yazji Bakery on Al-Nasr Street in the city.

The ongoing conflict in the region intensified on October 7, 2023, when the occupation forces launched an offensive on the Gaza Strip. This offensive has resulted in the deaths of 66,005 citizens, the majority of whom were children and women, and injuries to 168,162 others. The death toll remains uncertain as many victims are still trapped under rubble and in the streets, with ambulance and rescue crews unable to reach them.
