Gaza City: Seven citizens were killed and dozens injured early Saturday morning when the Israeli occupation forces bombed two homes in the Shati refugee camp, west of Gaza City, and the Sabra neighborhood, south of the city.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, local sources reported that Israeli warplanes targeted a home belonging to the Abu Abdo family in the Shati refugee camp, resulting in the deaths of three citizens and injuries to others. In another attack, Israeli warplanes bombed a home belonging to the Al-Khour family on Al-Thalathini Street in the Sabra neighborhood. Rescue and civil defense crews recovered the bodies of four individuals and several wounded, while some remain missing under the rubble.
The report further stated that Israeli artillery shelled the eastern areas of Gaza City. This shelling coincided with the demolition of numerous homes by Israeli occupation forces in the area, exacerbating the humanitarian situation for residents.
