Saudi Foreign Ministry condemns in strongest terms Israeli attack on al-Mawasi area in southern Gaza

RIYADH: The Saudi Foreign Ministry condemned in the strongest terms the Israeli attack on the al-Mawasi area in Khan Yunis in the southern Gaza Strip, which led to a large number of civilian casualties. Saudi Arabia reiterated its categorical rejection of the ongoing Israeli genocide, demanding an immediate ceasefire. The ministry, in a statement, held the Israeli occupation forces fully responsible for their continued violation of all international and humanitarian norms and laws. The statement stressed the legal, humanitarian and moral responsibility of the international community to activate the mechanisms of international accountability, and to put an end to these ongoing violations of international law and resolutions of international legitimacy by the Israeli occupation forces.
