Riyadh: The Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs has voiced the Kingdom's strong condemnation of the ongoing actions committed by Israeli authorities and extremist colonists against Palestinians. Recent incidents include the storming of the Al-Aqsa Mosque courtyards and provocations against worshippers. According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, the latest attack occurred in Kafr Haris, northwest of Salfit, where dozens of colonists set fire to the Hajja Hamida mosque and inscribed racist slogans on its walls. This incident is part of a series of violations that Saudi Arabia argues undermine peace efforts in the region. Saudi Arabia emphasized that the continuation of such attacks without intervention jeopardizes both international and regional peace initiatives and exacerbates tensions. The Kingdom expressed concern that international silence and the lack of accountability for continued Israeli actions weaken international legal principles. The Kingdom reinforced its steadfast support for the Palestinian people and its commitment to establishing an independent Palestinian state based on the 1967 borders, with East Jerusalem as its capital, in line with the Arab Peace Initiative and international resolutions.
