RIYADH: The Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's strong condemnation and denunciation of Israeli statements regarding the Philadelphi Corridor and the futile attempts to justify ongoing Israeli violations of international laws and norms. The ministry affirmed the Kingdom's solidarity with and support for the Arab Republic of Egypt in the face of these Israeli allegations. Additionally, the Kingdom cautioned about the potential consequences of Israel's provocative statements, which could undermine mediation efforts led by the Arab Republic of Egypt, the State of Qatar, and the United States of America to achieve a permanent ceasefire. Israel's statements may also exacerbate already dangerous tensions in the region. The Kingdom said in a statement that it reaffirms the importance of ending the suffering of the Palestinian people and emphasizes the need for unified international efforts to enable them to exercise their inherent right to self-determination and establish their inde pendent state based on the 1967 borders, with east Jerusalem as its capital.
