Head of the caretaker government Abdulaziz Saleh bin Habtoor on Tuesday emphasized the enduring and pivotal role of Sana'a University in fostering national social and economic development over its more than five-decade history. During today's meeting with Rector of Sana'a University, Dr. Al-Qasim Abbas, Dr. Bin Habtoor expressed his satisfaction with the university's current trajectory of development in academic, educational, and research domains. He commended the efforts aimed at solidifying its academic and educational standing both domestically and internationally. The meeting delved into discussions regarding the university's current status and its plans for the academic year 1446 AH/2024-2025 AD. This encompassed scientific research programs, strategic directions, and preparations for commencing educational activities across its various faculties. The assembled officials also reviewed development programs and projects slated for implementation in the current year, underscoring governmental support aim ed at bolstering Sana'a University's scientific stature.
