The ministry of manufactory and trade, in cooperation with private firms, organizes ten consumptive goods fairs, deputy minister for internal trade said on Monday, in preparation for the holy month of Ramadan. A new plan was developed to boost local products and offer services for the Yemeni at the fairs, Mohamed Qatran added in remarks to Saba. The fairs this year will be organized in Sana'a City, Hodeida, Ibb, Taiz, Dhamar, Baydha, Amran and Sa'ada, he said, in order to provide the people with options to buy goods and services at affordable prices. Fair permits were based on criteria stipulating "actual discounts" offered to consumers, priority given to local products, and allocation of 30% of fairs area for productive households and micro-producers for free or low rent, according to the producer conditions, he added.
