Russian forces foil Ukraine’s 20 drone attacks on Crimean
Russian troops thwarted wide-scale drone attacks launched by Ukrainian forces on Crimean, Russia’s defense ministry said Saturday.
There were neither casualties nor damage caused by the attacks carried out by 20 Ukrainian drones, the ministry added in a statement.
Russia’s air forces shot down 14 of those drones, while its e-troops did six others, it noted.
Meanwhile, Russian forces thwarted three attacks by Ukrainian forces in Zaporizhzhia region and targeted a western Ukrainian military airport with high-precision weapons, Russian Defense Ministry spokesman Igor Konashenkov said in his daily briefing on the operations in Ukraine over the past 24 hours.
He indicated that Russia’s forces also shot down 29 drones in various sites, thwarted seven attacks of Ukrainian forces in Donetsk, and ruined a missile and artillery depot in Zaporizhzhia, revealing that at least 475 Ukrainian soldiers were killed.
