The Russian Defense Ministry announced Friday that one of its fighter jets intercepted foreign military aircrafts after air surveillance systems detected air targets approaching the country's borders over the Black Sea. The ministry said in a statement that a Su-27 fighter jet belonging to the air defense forces intercepted a strategic reconnaissance aircraft of the RC-135 type and two Typhoon fighters belonging to the British Air Force, noting that the foreign military jets changed their course after the Russian fighter approached, and moved away from the Russian borders. This is the second time within 24 hours that Russian fighters have intercepted British jets that attempted to violate the Russian borders over the Black Sea airspace. Source: Qatar News Agency
