The Russian Foreign Ministry Tuesday announced it had summoned the Charge d'Affaires of the US Embassy in Moscow, Stephanie Holmes, to protest the "illegal" entry of American journalists into the Kursk region on the border with Ukraine. The Ministry stated, "A strong protest was filed to Holmes after American journalists entered the Russian Kursk region during the Ukrainian forces' incursion into the region. "American citizens involved in these crimes will face necessary investigative measures by the competent authorities according to the Russian criminal law." Source: Jordan News Agency
