Russia announced today, Thursday, that its forces regained control of 10 villages in the Russian Kursk region that were controlled by Ukrainian forces. The Russian Defense Ministry said in a statement that units of the Northern Division liberated the aforementioned villages within two days, and also repelled, during the past 24 hours, two counterattacks by Ukrainian forces in the direction of Fanasivka and Snagost, and thwarted an offensive attempt in the direction of the town of Olgovka. The Ministry announced that the Ukrainian armed forces lost about 20 soldiers between dead and wounded, an armored combat vehicle, and a car, and a Ukrainian soldier surrendered to Russian forces.
