Doha: The first meeting of the referees committee of the Arabian Gulf Cup Football Federation (AGCFF) 2024, was convened at the federation's premises in Doha, on Monday. The Qatari Hani Blan chaired the meeting, and was attended by members of the committee, namely Ibrahim Mubarak Al Hosani from Oman, Abdulrahman Al Omari, Saudi Arabia, Ali Al Samahiji, Bahrain, and Hamad Al Mazrouei from UAE. They discussed a range of topics on the agenda, including the selection of referees for the GCC Champions League of 2024-2025 season and evaluators of the referees for the championship, in addition to reviewing other points related to future leagues and activities. On Sunday, AGCFF unveiled the clubs competing in the GCC Champions League, which is due to kick off on Sept.24, 2024, until April 25, 2025, with the participation of 8 clubs.
