On Monday, the Hamas movement announced that Ismail Haniyeh, head of the movement's political bureau, informed the head of Egyptian intelligence, Minister Major General Abbas Kamel, and the Prime Minister of Qatar, Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdul Rahman bin Jassim Al Thani, of the movement's approval of the ceasefire proposal.
