Doha: The general index of Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) dropped 19.32 points, or 0.19 percent, at the beginning of trading on Thursday, reaching 10,134 points, compared to yesterday's closing. QSE general index was weighed down by a decline in four sectors: Industrials by 0.54 percent; Transportation by 0.33 percent; Banks and Financial Services by 0.05 percent; and Insurance by 0.02 percent. However, the index saw a rise in Telecoms by 0.56 percent; Real Estate by 0.10 percent; and Consumer Goods and Services by 0.07 percent. By 10:00 am, 13.029 million shares were traded in 1,473 transactions valued QAR 35.005 million. Source: Qatar News Agency
