Qatar Strongly Condemns Assassination Attempt on Prime Minister of Slovakia

Doha: The State of Qatar condemns and denounces in the strongest terms the attempt to assassinate HE President of the Slovak Republic Robert Fico, considering it an unacceptable criminal act, and expressed its wishes for a speedy recovery for His Excellency.

In a statement on Thursday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs emphasized the necessity of bringing those involved in this heinous crime to justice. It also reaffirmed the State of Qatars steadfast position on rejecting violence, terrorism and criminal acts, including political assassinations, regardless of the motives and reasons.

The Ministry expressed the State of Qatar’s full solidarity with the government of Slovakia in preserving security and stability.
