The State of Qatar has participated in the 75th session of the Executive Committee of the UN High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) (High-level segment on statelessness) held at the United Nations headquarters in Geneva. Brigadier Abdullah Saqr Al Mohannadi, Director of the Human Rights Department at the Ministry of Interior, delivered the State of Qatar's statement during the general discussion, in which he spoke about the State's efforts and achievements in developing national laws and legislation aimed at promoting and protecting human rights. He also highlighted the importance of the strategic partnership between the State of Qatar and the UN High Commissioner for Refugees to support refugees around the world in the field of education and other fields, referring to the efforts made to strengthen this partnership.
