Qatar Condemns Netanyahu’s Vision of Greater Israel Remarks

Doha: The State of Qatar has condemned the statements made by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on the so-called “Greater Israel Vision”. Qatar’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in a statement on Wednesday, criticized the remarks as indicative of an occupation strategy rooted in arrogance, the incitement of crises and conflicts, and the violation of state sovereignty, international law, the UN Charter, and resolutions of international legitimacy.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency – WAFA, the statement emphasized that Israeli claims and provocative comments will not undermine the legitimate rights of Arab states and peoples. It called for the international community to unite against these provocations, which could lead to increased violence and chaos in the region.

The Ministry reiterated Qatar’s full support for efforts aimed at achieving a just, comprehensive, and sustainable peace in the region, while also promoting regional and international security and stability.
