Doha: The State of Qatar chaired the 71st meeting of the GCC Undersecretaries of Ministries of Finance Committee, held in Doha on Monday, in the presence of Their Excellencies GCC Undersecretaries. During his opening speech, Assistant Undersecretary for Economic Affairs Dr. Saud bin Abdullah Al Attiyah - who chaired the meeting - welcomed Their Excellencies and the participating delegations in Qatar, indicating that this meeting comes within the framework of strengthening financial and economic cooperation and integration between the GCC countries. During the meeting, Their Excellencies the Undersecretaries discussed a number of topics, including the results of the meetings of the GCC Central Bank Governors Committee, the Board of Directors of the GCC Customs Union Authority, the Gulf Common Market Committee, and what was reached by the member states in that regard.
