Qatar Calendar House and Al-Ojeiri Scientific Center in Kuwait stressed Wednesday the need to enhance cooperation between them in issuing Hijri calendars, and offering introductory astronomical courses provided by Qatar Calendar House in the field of timings and crescents, an introduction to astronomy, and specialized astronomical programs such as the Astronomical Observer program, whether online or in person in Kuwait. This came during a visit currently being made by a delegation from Qatar Calendar House headed by Eng. Faisal Al Ansari (Executive Director of Qatar Calendar House) to Al-Ojeiri Scientific Center in Kuwait, which aims to enhance cooperation between the two sides in the fields of calendars and holding joint astronomical courses and research, as well as discussing matters related to forensic astronomy. The delegation of Qatar Calendar House praised the efforts made by the State of Kuwait in the field of astronomy through Al-Ojeiri Scientific Center. The delegation viewed the contents of the e xhibition of the late Kuwaiti astronomer Dr. Saleh Al-Ojeiri, praising the historical legacy, manuscripts, letters, and books kept by the center, in addition to learning about the most important recent publications of the center.
