Ramallah - Ma'an - The lawyer of the Commission of Prisoners' Affairs and Ex-Prisoners, Karim Ajweh, was able to visit the injured detainee, Yaqoub Hawarin, on Monday evening, who was shot by the occupation soldiers that same afternoon. He was arrested and immediately transferred to the Israeli Shaare Zedek Hospital. The Authority's lawyer explained that the detainee, Huarin, was shot several times in the lower part of his body, and underwent surgery in the hospital, and is still under artificial respiration and anesthesia. Ajwa confirmed that the Israeli military court in Ofer prison will hold a session next Monday to extend the detention of the detainee Hawarin, and it will be in absentia - without his presence. The Commission holds the occupation government, its prison administration and all its tools fully responsible for the life of the wounded detainee Hawarin, calling on human rights, humanitarian and health institutions to intervene immediately to save his life.
