HE Prime Minister of the Republic of Singapore Lawrence Wong met with HE Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Defense Affairs Dr. Khalid bin Mohamed Al Attiyah on the sidelines of His Excellency's participation in Shangri-La Dialogue, which is organized by the International Institute for Strategic Studies (IISS). During the meeting, the two sides discussed topics of shared concern, and developments in the region, particularly the Israeli war on Gaza. They also addressed the State of Qatar's role in mediation efforts, the keenness to cease fire and halting the war on Gaza. HE Ambassador of the State of Qatar to the Republic of Singapore, Saoud bin Jassim Al Jufairi and several high-ranking officials from the two sides attended the meeting. Source: Qatar News Agency
