Ramallah: Prime Minister Mohammad Mustafa emphasized the need for urgent international action to stop Israeli army and colonists' attacks. He stated that all embassies and international missions have been instructed to address representatives of various countries to exert pressure to halt these attacks and illegal occupation measures.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, during the weekly cabinet session, Mustafa condemned the recent aggressive actions by Israel, particularly the occupation's assault on the city of Jenin and the installation of iron gates designed to isolate Palestinian villages and cities. He called for an immediate cessation of aggression and hostilities in the Gaza Strip, highlighting the dire humanitarian situation there and demanding the complete withdrawal of occupation forces.
Mustafa reiterated President Mahmoud Abbas's stance that Gaza is an integral part of the State of Palestine, underscoring the need for full sovereignty over all Palestinian territories and the unity of national institutions. He rejected any attempts to divide or displace the Palestinian people. Mustafa also noted that President Abbas has been engaged in intensive diplomatic efforts to seek support from regional and international parties in response to the ongoing aggression.
