Doha, July 31 (QNA) - HE Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani met today at the Amiri Diwan with HE UK Foreign Secretary David Lammy, and HE UK Defense Secretary John Healey, who are visiting the country. During the meeting, the two sides reviewed the strategic cooperation relations between the two countries and ways to support and develop them, and discussed the repercussions of the assassination of the Head of the Political Bureau of the Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) Dr. Ismail Haniyeh in the Iranian capital, Tehran. They also discussed the latest developments in the Gaza Strip in the occupied Palestinian territories, as well as developments in the joint mediation efforts to end the war on the Gaza, in addition to several topics of mutual interest.
