President offers condolences on death of Maj. Gen. Sharaf al-Shami

Mahdi al-Mashat, President of the Supreme Political Council, sent a message of condolences and sympathy on Tuesday following the death of Major General Sharaf Mohammed al-Shami at the age of 83. Major General al-Shami passed away after a distinguished career dedicated to the service of the homeland. In his message, President al-Mashat praised the deceased for his virtues and significant contributions, particularly in the naval forces. Major General al-Shami held various military positions throughout his career, with his last role being Deputy Commander of the Naval Forces. The President highlighted Major General al-Shami's honorable efforts in confronting American and Saudi aggression, emphasizing that his passing is a significant loss for Ibb province and the nation as a whole.
