President Al-Mashat offers condolences on martyrdom of Mujahid Air Force Commander Major General Ahmed Al-Hamzi
His Excellency Field Marshal Mahdi Al-Mashat, Head of the Supreme Political Council, sent a telegram of condolence and sympathy on the martyrdom of the Mujahid, Major General Ahmed Ali Al-Hamzi, Commander of the Air Force and Air Defense, as a result of a previous injury, after a life full of giving and work in the service of the homeland in the Armed Forces.
In the telegram of condolence that he sent to his two brothers, Brigadier General Ahsan Ali Al-Hamzi, Saleh Ali Al-Hamzi, his son Hamad and his brothers, the President praised the virtues of the martyr Al-Hamzi, his patriotic roles, his heroic and courageous jihadist stances during his life’s journey full of work in the field of the Armed Forces, especially in the Air Force and Air Defense.
He pointed out that the fighter, Major General Al-Hamzi, was a military commander, an outstanding fighter, a sincere fighter, who contributed to the advancement of the Air Force and Air Defense, developing its capabilities, and leaving immortal imprints that will be remembered by generations.
He pointed out that the martyr was an example of the national character struggling for the freedom and independence of the country, stressing that his departure represented a loss for the armed forces in particular and Yemen in general.
President Al-Mashat expressed his sincere condolences and great sympathy to the family of the martyr and all of Al-Hamzi’s family.
“We belong to Allah and to Him we shall return”.
