Ramallah: President of the State of Palestine Mahmoud Abbas praised the statements issued by the Republic of Turkey in support of Palestinian rights, as well as efforts to end the ongoing war, halt annexation, and prevent displacement.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, President Abbas commended the efforts of President Recep Tayyip Erdogan in supporting the Palestinian people and their legitimate rights. He also welcomed the statements made by Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan, which expressed Turkey's support for U.S. President Donald Trump's initiatives to end the conflict in the Gaza Strip and firmly rejected the annexation of the West Bank.
President Abbas highlighted that these statements reflect and align with the Palestinian position, as well as with the stance of all nations striving to end the war and establish peace in the region and across the world.
