RAMALLAH: President Mahmoud Abbas today offered condolences on behalf of the Palestinian government and people over the death of Sheikh Nawaf Al Ahmad Al Sabah, Kuwait's ruling Emir. President Abbas, leading a Palestinian delegation, offered his condolences to the New Emir, Sheikh Meshal al-Ahmad al-Jaber Al-Sabah, and the Kuwaiti government and people on the death of Sheikh Nawaf Al Ahmad Al Sabah. He also congratulated Sheikh Meshaal for being appointed as Kuwait's new Emir, wishing him success and the brotherly Kuwaiti people further progress and prosperity.
