Ramallah: President Mahmoud Abbas extended his congratulations to the President of the Republic of C´te d'Ivoire on his re-election for a new presidential term.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, in his congratulatory message, President Abbas said: "It gives us great pleasure to extend our warmest congratulations on your re-election as President of the Republic of C´te d'Ivoire for a new term. We wish you continued success in leading your country and people towards achieving their aspirations for further progress and prosperity."
President Abbas expressed confidence that the relations between Palestine and C´te d'Ivoire, based on brotherhood, friendship, and mutual respect, will witness further development and growth.
He further expressed appreciation for C´te d'Ivoire's solidarity and support for the Palestinian people and their just cause, reaffirming Palestine's pursuit of its legitimate rights to freedom and independence.
