Ramallah: President Mahmoud Abbas issued a decree today promoting Brigadier-General Anwar Rajab Mahmoud Khalil to the rank of Major-General and appointing him as the Commissioner of the Political and National Guidance Authority.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, in a separate decree, President Abbas also promoted Colonel Nizar Said Sadiq Al-Hajj to the rank of Brigadier-General and appointed him as the Deputy Director-General of the Preventive Security Service, effective on May 5, 2025.
