Post: Presidency Warns Escalating Israeli Policies Threaten Regional Stability

Ramallah: Nabil Abu Rudeineh, spokesman for President Mahmoud Abbas, cautioned that the ongoing Israeli escalation and support for colonist violence pose a significant threat to regional stability. He emphasized that these actions keep the region "on the edge of a volcano," highlighting the potential consequences for regional security.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, Abu Rudeineh stressed the importance of not marginalizing or bypassing the Palestinian issue. He warned that failing to reach a just solution would only serve to prolong wars and crises throughout the region. He highlighted the growing international recognition of Palestinian rights, alongside continued support for international legitimacy and global political changes, as an opportunity for the international community and the United States to resolve regional conflicts and achieve stability.

Abu Rudeineh asserted that the Palestinian cause is deeply rooted in history and remains just. He warned that ignoring Palestinian rights or attempting to impose faits accomplis would neither bring security nor provide legitimacy to the occupation and its colonial policies. He reiterated that resolving the Palestinian issue in line with Arab and international resolutions is essential for achieving regional and international stability and ending the cycles of conflict.
