The forces of the Northern and Eastern Tigris Operations Command of the Popular Mobilization Forces strengthened their security deployment in Altun Kopri district of Kirkuk Governorate on Thursday. The popular mobization commission stated in a statement that "this deployment came for the purpose of securing the entry of visitors of Arbaeen of Imam Hussein (peace be upon him) and receiving them through the border crossings of the governorate, as duties were distributed and security points were deployed in addition to intensive security checks through coordination with various other security forces deployed within the sector of responsibility."
