Al-Amara, Maysan police arrested a suspect who killed his daughter and injured his wife in one of the areas of the city of Al-Amara, the center of the governorate. The Maysan Police Command said in a statement: 'The accused stabbed his 14-year-old daughter, injured his wife, and fled. Immediately, a specialized work team was formed and moved to the scene of the incident, set up a security cordon, and conducted search and investigation operations that resulted in the arrest of the accused and taking him to the police station to complete the legal procedures and determine the circumstances of the incident.'
