A statement from his media office stated that Al-Sudani chaired, today, Wednesday, a meeting of security leaders in Anbar Governorate, in the context of his visit to the governorate today. Al-Sudani stressed, according to the statement, that Anbar Governorate has importance and has privacy because it extends over a large area of Iraqi land, which requires a double effort in order to maintain security there, he pointed out: 'The victories that were achieved over terrorism would not have occurred without the stance of the people of Anbar who supported the security forces, worked in all their formations and made sacrifices for the sake of their province and their homeland.' The Prime Minister stated that the government has launched a broad program that includes priorities related to reconstruction and services that will improve the ser vice reality for citizens throughout Iraq, stressing that the process of construction, reconstruction and project implementation all require security stability, and this falls on the responsibility of our heroic security forces that we need. And this must make more efforts, as it made previously in the war against terrorism."
