Prime Minister Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani received, on Monday morning, the President of the Turkish Republic, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, who is visiting Iraq at the head of a high-level official delegation. The grounds of Baghdad International Airport witnessed an official reception for the guest president, in which the Iraqi and Turkish national anthems were played, and the honor guard representing the various types of our armed forces was reviewed, and artillery fired 21 salutes at the reception ceremony. Al-Sudani and Erdogan will hold official bilateral discussions, in addition to expanded discussions at the level of the government and ministers from both sides. The visit will witness discussion of water, economic and security files, the development road project and developments in the situation in the region, and the signing of a bilateral strategic framework agreement aimed at expanding the partnership in the economic and trade fields, and exchanging experiences, and facing common environmental and regional challenges.
