PM pays tribute to Al Bayda University’s Enlighten role
Prime Minister Dr. Abdulaziz Saleh bin Habtoor commended on Sunday the academic and cognitive development of Al Bayda University and its outstanding scientific and research activity that serves the development process as well as its enlightening role.
This came when he met the Governor of Al-Bayda Abdullah Idris, the President of Al-Bayda University, Dr. Ahmed Al-Arami, and the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the University Amin Jammaan and his deputy Abdullah Abu Al Rejal and in the presence of Prime Minister Taha al-Sufyani’s office.
The conditions of the University and the level of implementation of its annual development plans and programmes and its scientific activities, the latest of which was the holding of the fourth scientific conference on 21-23 August under the theme “The role of universities in achieving sustainable development”, were discussed with the participation of 431 researchers from Yemen and Arab and international countries.
The Prime Minister received the University’s Shield in honour of his role in supporting the University and its development programmes as well as a copy of the outputs of the Fourth Scientific Conference.
Governor Idris, Chairman of the University’s Board of Trustees Jamaan, his deputy Abu Al-Rajal, President of Saada University Dr. Abdul Rahim Al-Hamran, as well as businessman Ali Al-Salahi were also honored with the university’s shield, in gratitude and appreciation for their valuable roles in supporting the university and developing its financial and technical capabilities
