PM Mustafa Stresses Need for Stronger International Action to Halt Israeli Aggression on Gaza

Gaza City: Prime Minister Mohammad Mustafa Tuesday stressed the need for stronger and more effective international action to halt the Israeli aggression on Gaza.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, Prime Minister Mustafa, at the outset of the Cabinet session Tuesday, emphasized that the scenes of terror and fear, with martyrs and the wounded being transported through primitive means using animals, highlight the urgency for international intervention to compel Israel to halt its aggression.

He further pointed out that Israel's targeting of hundreds of civilians-including children, women, and the elderly-as they slept in tattered makeshift shelters in Gaza, amid severe shortages of food and medicine, is a crime that must stop immediately.

Commenting on Israel's real goal, Prime Minister Mustafa stated that the ongoing Israeli aggression on Palestinian refugee camps and various governorates exposes the false pretexts of the Israeli occupation. He argued that the real aim is the destruction of camps, their infrastructure, and the very foundations of life in Palestinian cities.

He affirmed that the government would unwaveringly shoulder its responsibility towards the Palestinian people, in all places of their presence, and expressed determination to continue its efforts, despite the crimes and obstacles imposed by the Israeli occupation.
