Post: PM Mustafa Discusses Youth Employment and Resilience Programs with Palestinian Youth Union

Ramallah: Prime Minister Mohammad Mustafa met on Wednesday with a delegation from the Palestinian Youth Union, headed by its Director-General Moharram Barghouti, to discuss ways to strengthen cooperation with youth institutions, expand development and employment programs, and enhance the resilience of Palestinians, particularly in areas targeted by Israeli occupation forces and colonists. The meeting was attended by Minister of Agriculture Rizq Salmiya and Minister of Labor Enas Attari.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, the delegation reviewed its main activities and programs, as well as a number of priority needs aimed at supporting Palestinians' steadfastness on their land. These include expanding employment opportunities for young people and families and increasing government support for the agricultural sector.

Mustafa praised the role of the Palestinian Youth Union and its efforts in serving young people and local communities, noting that these initiatives complement the government's broader efforts to strengthen Palestinian resilience amid ongoing challenges. He stressed that the government would follow up on the issues and needs raised during the meeting and work to address them wherever possible, while emphasizing the importance of strengthening the role of cooperatives in supporting the national economy and empowering rural communities and youth.
