Gaza: The death toll from the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip surged to 73,016 civilians, according to medical sources.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, the total death toll in the Gaza Strip climbed to 73,016, mostly women and children, with casualties reaching 173,265 since the onset of the aggression on the Strip on October 7, 2023. In the last 24 hours, the bodies of two slain Palestinians and five casualties were admitted to Gaza hospitals.

Since the ceasefire agreement went into effect at noon on October 10, 2025, the occupation forces have killed 1,005 Palestinians and injured 3,157 others. The bodies of 784 Palestinians have been retrieved over the same period. Additionally, at least 10,000 people are unaccounted for, presumed dead under the rubble of their homes throughout the Strip.

The aggression has also resulted in the forceful displacement of nearly two million people from all over the Gaza Strip. The vast majority of the displaced were forced into the densely crowded southern city of Rafah near the border with Egypt. This has become Palestine's largest mass exodus since the 1948 Nakba.
