He declared that the conference symbolizes a promise to correct the historical injustices faced by Palestinians, with Gaza's current situation as a stark and brutal example necessitating immediate action.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, Prime Minister Mustafa conveyed that the conference sends a crucial message of support to the Palestinian people, affirming their right to life, liberty, and sovereignty. Additionally, he highlighted the importance of conveying to the Israeli people that peace and regional integration can be achieved through Palestinian independence rather than ongoing conflict.
Prime Minister Mustafa extended gratitude to Saudi Arabia and France for their leadership roles in co-chairing the conference, and acknowledged the efforts of all contributing nations and organizations. He stressed the need for the international community to fulfill its obligations towards ensuring self-determination and lasting peace for Palestinians, urging for proactive and decisive measures to be taken.
He called on all nations to take immediate action to end the war in Gaza, secure the release of hostages, and ensure the withdrawal of Israeli forces. Mustafa expressed support for mediation efforts by Egypt, Qatar, and the United States, underscoring the importance of ending the engineered starvation and violence imposed by Israel.
Mustafa emphasized the necessity of reunifying Gaza with the West Bank, including East Jerusalem, free from occupation and sieges. He advocated for rebuilding Gaza, achieving Palestinian independence, and implementing the two-State solution for lasting peace between Palestine and Israel.
