PM Inaugurates Al-Hakim Teaching Hospital In Maysan Governorate / More

The Prime Minister, Muhammad Al-Sudani, inaugurated today Thursday Al-Hakim Teaching Hospital in Maysan Governorate, with a capacity of 492 beds.

A statement by the Prime Minister’s Media Office stated that this inauguration comes within the priorities of the government program to develop the health services sector in all governorates, and expand the absorptive capacity for treating citizens in public hospitals, as the hospital project was one of the lagging projects that faced obstacles in implementation, and work has resumed on it according to the directives of the Prime Minister.

According to the statement, the hospital includes departments covering 20 medical and therapeutic specialties, 17 operating rooms, in addition to a dialysis center, another for cancer treatment, a catheterization center and heart disease treatment, in addition to a large emergency and burns department and a consulting clinic./ End
