In a statement posted to his X account, Sheikh emphasized the need for holding those responsible accountable in international courts. Ezgi Eygi, who was actively involved in protests against Israeli settlement expansion, was fatally shot in the head by Israeli forces while participating in a demonstration in Mount Sabih, near Beita, south of Nablus.
