The Palestinian-Jordanian Business Forum (PJBF) signed a memorandum of cooperation with the Turkish Rights Industrialists and Businessmen's Association (HAKSIAD) to increase economic and commercial cooperation among Jordanian and Turkish businesspeople and exchange expertise. According to a PJBF statement Sunday, the memo aims to activate and increase trade exchange and transfer of expertise with various parties. PJBF Chairman, Nazmi Atmeh, said desire of the two parties met to achieve joint cooperation and exchange interests, in accordance with the laws in force in both countries. Atmeh stressed the forum's keenness to support development of the national economy and introduce the investment environment in the Kingdom, noting that the memo will enable businessowners to establish joint projects and exchange expertise. Atmeh noted the two sides agreed to coordinate and cooperate in all activities, projects and events between the two countries, which serve the Jordanian, Turkish and Palestinian economies. U nder the memo, both parties seek to care for businesspeople's interests, each according to the scope of their work and objectives, and provide access to the details, activities and events of the other party regarding businesses of a joint nature, with approval of the two sides' board of directors. Furthermore, the two sides will work to coordinate joint meetings for businesspeople, aimed to cooperate, encourage trade exchange and create joint job opportunities. The two sides also agreed to exchange commercial information on investment laws and instructions issued by the relevant official civil authorities to contribute to stimulate businessmen to invest and create an investment environment in Jordan and Trkiye, the statement pointed out.
