Ramallah: Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics (PCBS), the overall Producer Price Index (PPI) for Palestine, with its base year set at 2019 = 100, reached 157.92 in January 2025. This reflects a decrease of 4.79% compared to December 2024.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, Producer Price Index for locally consumed products during January 2025 showed that the index reached 162.36, indicating a decrease of 4.95% compared to December 2024.
Producer Price Index for local exported products during January 2025 reached 116.42, marking a decrease of 2.72% compared to December 2024.
The changes in the PPI for January 2025 were attributed to shifts in prices of major activities compared to the previous month.
