Ramallah: A report by the Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics (PCBS) on Wednesday has shown a decline in the trade balance deficit for registered goods by 9% in November 2024 compared to November 2023.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, exports increased in November 2024 by 41% compared to the same month in the previous year, reaching USD 142 million. Exports to Israel saw a significant rise, increasing by 68% and accounting for 79% of total exports in November 2024. Conversely, exports to other countries decreased by 12% during the same period.
Imports saw a slight increase of 1% in November 2024 compared to November 2023, totaling USD 506.2 million. Imports from Israel rose by 5% and constituted 58% of the total imports in November 2024, while imports from other countries decreased by 4% compared to the previous year.
