Post: Palestinian Youth Shot and Injured by Israeli Forces in Al-Ram, North of Jerusalem

Al-ram: A young Palestinian man was shot by Israeli occupation forces early on Friday in the town of Al-Ram, north of occupied Jerusalem, according to local sources. The Palestinian Red Crescent Society reported that its teams treated the young man for a live bullet wound to the thigh near the Israeli segregation wall in Al-Ram, before transporting him to a hospital for further care.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, the Jerusalem Governorate recorded over 70 confirmed injuries to Palestinian workers in Al-Ram and its surroundings during 2025. These injuries were caused by live or rubber-coated bullets fired directly by Israeli forces. Most of the injuries were to the lower limbs, indicating a pattern of deliberate targeting to maim or disable those involved. Officials noted that the actual number of injuries may be higher, as many workers refrain from documenting incidents due to fear of Israeli reprisals.
